How to make Anjunadeep style Melodic House | Live Electronic Music Tutorial 036

Episode 36 features a deep progressive house music production session in Logic Pro X. We setup the DAW at 118 BPM and the refresh rate at 96000KHZ, we pre imported a MIDI key progression to the Logic Pro X and Used Sylenth 1 for the main Pad.

We first build percussions using Logic pro X Drum machine designer using the Kit Ibiza. We program the main kick drum, some high hats and various elements of the percussion to create a basic groove. We then move on the bassline using the same key progression and creating a minimalistic pattern, we then select a preset from the Sylenth 1 Synthesizer and move on to replicate the the bass to create an answering element. We then add a third element in the form of a pluck that answer the two bass elements. We also take the time to add more percussions to the mix.

We then start paying the keys and record a background arp that create motion and enrich the existing material. We then edit the MIDI we recorded to perfection. We then create two final lead layers with a few more percussions.
